Mission Statement

The Commercial Examining Board of Ireland provides and certifies examinations in the area of Information Technology. These examinations are designed in particular for second level students as well as mature students returning to the educational system. They are geared towards students who have a limited amount of class time available to them but at the same time require certification for the standards they have reached.

The Board certifies from Basic to Advanced level in most subject areas and provide other examinations that are specifically for Transition Year pupils in our second level schools. The Board attempts to achieve the highest possible standards within the restraints outlined above.
