Step1
Tutors/Teachers request sample papers from the Board. These are available on the web site.
However a more extensive range can be obtained by contacting the Board directly. This can be done by telephone, Fax, completing the sample paper request form on the web site or by E-mail (cebexams@eircom.net).
Sample papers are available free of charge.
Teachers can use the Sample Papers with their students to assess their level of ability and to prepare them for their examination.
Step 2
When the Tutor/Teacher is happy that the students are ready to sit the examination/s, they simply contact the Board (by means of the website, telephone, Fax or E-mail) and order the number of examination papers they require at the different levels. For example, a teacher may order 12 Basic Word Processing Examinations and 5 Elementary Word Processing Examinations.
These examinations will be forwarded to the school as quickly as possible from when the order was received.
Step 3
The teacher/Tutor decides on the day/time of the examination.
The examination must be carried out according to normal examination procedures.
The supervisor (who can be the teacher/tutor or an external examiner) signs a Declaration Form to this effect.
The hard copy of the examinations must be printed out and returned to the Board for correction.
Disks are only accepted for the Slide Presentation examinations.
Fees must be forwarded to the Board with the worked scripts.
